It all started when…

Silvia Barban, Federico Cesi, Andrea Mancin and Luca Pelliccioni got together with the plan to bring to New York the filling and the edgy food of a real Italian trattoria.

At Briscola, our mission is simple: to bring back the charm of Italy's old-school trattorias - with a fun, modern twist. Inspired by the classic Italian card game briscola, our trattoria is a place where good food, warm company, and lively conversation come together around the table. Chef Silvia Barban, known for her innovative take on Italian cuisine, leads our kitchen with a focus on seasonal ingredients, regional recipes, and bold, balanced flavors. From house-made pastas and slow-braised meats to inventive vegetarian options and indulgent desserts, every dish at Briscola is crafted with care and rooted in tradition.
